I’ve pretty much been in love with Turkish towels […]

I’ve pretty much been in love with Turkish towels since my sister introduced me to SAMMIMIS Turkish Towels about a year ago. Whether I’m at the beach or relaxing in the garden at home, you’ll see me rocken a Turkish towel in some way.

In fact it is their amazing versatility that has caused me to fall in love with them. I’m finding new and fun uses for them everyday, here are just a few;

Amazing Blankets.

Picnic blanket – With their vibrant colours they make excellent picnic blankets. Trade up fro your drab blanket to one that will make your picnic space come alive.

Baby blanket an breast feeding cover. Not only are they soft and thin, but they look good too. Easy to wash and keep clean; their colours will stay vibrant through most heavy use but will stay soft.

Actually any kind of blanket, whether its for sitting on or snuggling under, Turkish towels mean you can do it all in style.

Wearing: the options are endless…

Turkish towels are thin enough to be used a a scarf. With so many amazing colours this is one of my favourite ways to use mine.

If its a little cooler you can turn your scarf into a trendy shoulder wrap by draping it over both shoulders.

If I’m at the beach I’m pretty much going to rock my Turkish towel “Sarong Style”. Use them to dry off then wrap them around your waist and you can live in your bikinis all summer.

And of course, as a towel.

They are the ideal towel with their quick drying capacity, whether it is at the beach or as a bath towel SAMMIMIS Turkish towels live up to their name – visit them at www.sammimis.com.au/.

I went shopping with some friends for jeans the other day and while we are all different shapes we all managed to find different jeans that fitted us perfectly. So today I thought I would give you some insight into what to look for in jeans to fit your body type.

Hourglass figure choose jeans that are cut higher at the back to keep you covered and ones that have a contoured waistband designed to fit your small waist and wont gape at the back. Choose a tapered or wide leg rather than skinny to balance out the difference between your slim calves and your butt.

Pear shape a low rise straight or tapered pair of jeans will keep hips looking slim and create overall balance. A dark wash jean with large back pockets will slim you down. Avoid wide legs which can make hips look wider.

Apple shape try a dark wash moderate rise jean which comes to just below belly button. Thick material will hold you in and prevent muffin top.

Tall figure you can wear most styles of jeans –low or high rise, straight leg or even a retro flare look. Fading in the material can break up the length.

Plus size a boot cut style will balance your curves butdon’t choose any kind of embellishments. A fading effect will draw attention to your thighs so a dark colour is better choice and more flattering.

Boy figure look good in a mid rise with a slight boot cut or flare to create a curvier figure.

Petite go for slim cut or skinnies and a mid rise style which finishes between waistline and hipbone. A long lean cut will extend the legs. Embellishments are OK as long as they are not too large.

Muffin top choose a boot cut rather than a skinny jean and a mid rise with a wide waistband.

Tummy bulge choose moderate rise with waist band just below belly button to control the problem area.

Large thighs dark colours are more slimming for legs. Choose a tapered jean with an elastic waistband and made in a stretch fabric.

No butt some jeans have built in padding to give a natural looking shape or pockets with a flap will help give extra volume.
